From this very moment until the month’s end, enlist in the REEL LIFE initiative, an immersive workshop by Netflix, actively seeking to recruit a fresh generation of filmmakers across Thailand by offering them hands-on experience behind the camera.
Those fortunate enough to be chosen will spend two full days and one night mingling with the crew on set and getting a first-hand look at the day-to-day operations of the global entertainment sphere.
The REEL LIFE initiative is an extension of the Netflix Fund For Creative Equity, also known as the Netflix Fund For Creative Opportunities, instituted in 2021, which has earmarked over US$100 million for a five-year plan to foster creativity worldwide.
Today, the program has broadened its scope to create avenues for Thai youth keen on the technical aspects of the entertainment industry.
Spanning two days, this workshop is structured to kindle, educate, and empower young and marginalized Thai creatives by giving them the tools needed to gain insights from seasoned industry professionals.
Collaborating with Netflix, the youth will get the chance to dip their toes in the movie and TV production industry, exploring roles like Set Production, Post Production, Script Supervisor, Office Production, and Production Accountant.
At present, the program is welcoming applications from students and the public between the ages of 20 and 26, provided they hold Thai nationality.
Selected participants will take part in workshops scheduled to take place in Bangkok from August 5th and 6th. The project will admit 50 individuals.
Furthermore, participants who successfully complete the workshop and are deemed suitable for the role Netflix seeks will be given a chance to intern with a Netflix production collaborator.

-Present an introduction of yourself either through a video or a written piece not exceeding 800 words.
-Selected participants will be informed via email on July 17, 2023.
The application process is entirely free and open for submissions from today, June 7th, until June 30th.
