The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale To Come to Bangkok This August

For those yearning for an enticing literary escape, the wait is almost over. The renowned “Big Bad Wolf Book Sale,” typically held on the outskirts of Bangkok, is setting its stage in the heart of the city at The Market, Ratchaprasong, this year.

The city-based version, dubbed “Big Bad Wolf in the City,” promises to be a dream come true for book enthusiasts, set to run from August 4 to 15, with doors open from 10 am to midnight each day.

This event showcases an extensive selection of both international and local books, all available at impressive discounts of up to 95%.

Last year’s sale included over a million Thai and English language books, testifying to its tremendous scope and diversity.

Aside from the abundance of books, the event also incorporates an exciting line-up of exclusive events and specials, enhancing the overall festive atmosphere.

One could look back at the previous year’s highlights such as thrilling book signings at Impact Arena Hall 4, and the exhilarating “TrolleyFul of Books!!!” competition, where a fortunate bibliophile carted away a trolley brimming with 103 books, free of charge.

The anticipation is palpable, especially considering the recent successful Phuket iteration of the “Big Bad Wolf Book Sale” at the Floresta Mini Convention Hall in June.

This year’s Bangkok edition is indeed a blessing, conveniently taking place at an accessible downtown location rather than a remote convention center on the city’s outskirts.

Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2009, Big Bad Wolf Books holds the prestige of being the World’s Biggest Book Sale.

The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale has expanded its reach, now being showcased in 36 cities across 15 nations.
