Centara Hotels & Resorts has appointed Metta Boonyaritipong as opening General Manager for Centra by Centara Hotel Bangkok Phra Nakhon.
The 180-key resort was designed to provide guests with a comfortable stay while exploring the area’s attractions, such as the National Museum, Wat Pho, the Grand Palace, and the Pak Khlong Talat flower market.

Ms. Metta, a seasoned hospitality professional, has been transferred from Centara Sonrisa Residences & Suites Sriracha, where she served as General Manager from July 2020 until now.
After beginning her hospitality career in southern Thailand as a personal assistant to the Group General Manager for Centara Resorts in Suratthani, she steadily rose through the ranks, having leading posts at Centara Koh Chang Tropicana Resort.
Ms. Metta then moved to Chonburi to take charge of Centara Pattaya Hotel and Centara Nova Hotel & Spa, where she was appointed hotel manager.
The experienced hospitality professional held her first position as general manager at Centara Sonrisa Residences & Suites Sriracha. During her time there, Ms. Metta improved the hotel’s performance and profitability, even during the challenging 2020-2021 period when the pandemic hit the industry.
Executive Vice President of Hotel Operations at Centara Hotels & Resorts David Good praised Ms. Metta’s career growth, saying they have witnessed her successes and shared her accomplishments over the years.

The Centra by Centara Hotel Bangkok Phra Nakhon is strategically located off Khaosan Road, close to the Sam Yot MRT subway station.
