RML Launches One City Centre, Thailand’s Tallest Office Building

In the evolving dynamics of the modern professional world, the concept of a workplace has significantly transformed. The ideal workspace is no longer merely an assembly of desks and computers but is now seen as an combination of work and leisure.

This belief is profoundly embodied in the One City Centre (OCC), a grade A+ luxury office building situated in the prime area of Ploenchit.

Its location and facilities stand as a testament to the emerging notion that a contemporary workplace should cater to the diverse needs of employees across all generations.

Developed by the acclaimed Raimon Land Public Company Limited (RML), the OCC is strategically situated on a six-rai plot opposite the Central Embassy.

This prime location offers the convenience of a two-minute walk from the Ploenchit BTS station with the added advantage of a direct skybridge link.

Furthermore, the Chalerm Maha Nakhon ramp to the expressway is just 200 meters away, ensuring easy accessibility for those commuting by car.

Under the forward-thinking concept of ‘REIMAGINE YOUR WORLD,’ the design of OCC is characterized by an intricate interplay of thoughtfulness and architectural elegance.

This architectural marvel, brought to life by globally celebrated design and consulting firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (SOM Thailand), features a unique design.

SOM Thailand’s reputation for creating some of the world’s tallest skyscrapers, such as the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and the One World Trade Center in New York City, is reflected in OCC’s stunning architectural form.

Beyond being a mere office building, OCC establishes itself as a lifestyle hub. It boasts a wide array of leisure spots, including retail outlets, restaurants, bars, and cafes, presenting the perfect blend of work and relaxation.

Here, one can unwind after work, conduct business meetings or even socialize with friends, thereby enhancing the work-life balance of those in the Ploenchit area.

OCC’s office spaces span from the 18th to the 57th floors, with each floor covering approximately 1,300 square meters. The building is designed with a 3-meter high curtain wall adorned with full-height glazing, providing a panoramic view of the city.

The column-free design lends flexibility to the tenants to structure their workspace as per their requirements, whether they require private office rooms or conference areas.

On the 58th and 61st floors, OCC unveils an exclusive fine-dining restaurant and bar, providing a 360-degree view of Bangkok’s cityscape and the Chao Phraya River. This dining spot is set to lure both local and international food and beverage enthusiasts.

The exterior of the building showcases a sprawling garden covering over 5,000 square meters, serving as an oasis of calm in the bustling city.

This green haven is adorned with exquisite sculptures created by renowned Thai sculptor Pongsatat ‘Dong’ Uaiklang, offering a serene retreat for passersby amidst their busy schedules.

OCC’s focus extends beyond providing a conducive work environment to fostering wellness in the workplace. The interior architecture prioritizes natural light, creating an inviting ambience.

This is further enhanced with smart daylight sensors that adjust the lighting according to various activities, ensuring a positive and inspiring work atmosphere.

High-efficiency air filtration and automatic temperature control systems, along with a facial recognition system, provide optimal comfort, convenience, and safety.

Internationally acclaimed for its adherence to building standards, OCC has been honoured with a 2-star Fitwel rating by the US-based Center for Active Design (CfAD).

This accolade validates OCC’s commitment to fostering wellness in the workplace. OCC’s excellent project management was recognized at the 2021 Real Estate Asia Awards, earning it the Office Development of the Year title.

OCC is poised to launch on July 1st, attracting top-tier companies seeking an ideal location. In addition to its professional allure, OCC also presents a vibrant hangout destination, thus catering to a wider audience.

On a similar note, RML is set to unveil three ultra-luxury projects by the year’s end. These projects, including the Rosewood Residences Kamala, will be situated in areas offering breathtaking views and beautiful beaches in Phuket, and Sukhumvit.

RML envisions setting new standards for ultra-luxury residences in Thailand through these ventures, introducing an unmatched level of luxury and sophistication.
