The St. Regis Bangkok Unveils New Vegetarian Sharing Menu

The St. Regis Bangkok has invited all its guests to enjoy a new culinary experience through vegetarian haute cuisine at IGNIV Bangkok (1 Michelin star).

From September 29 to October 3, people can sample a sustainable plant-based menu created in a four-hand culinary collaboration involving the talented David Hartwig, Head Chef of INGIV Bangkok, and Guest Chef Timo Fritsche of Oz by Andreas Caminada, located in the historic coach house right in front of Schloss Schauenstein (3 Michelin stars) in Furstenau, Switzerland.

After opening its doors in June 2022, Oz has offered a 100% vegetarian menu with products freshly harvested from the castle’s garden and greenhouse, guaranteeing fresh and delicious dishes.

Before taking over Oz, chef Timo spent two years working at Schloss Schauenstein, taking advantage of the 700 different vegetables, fruits, and herbs that grow in the surrounding areas.

Chef Timo is pleased to work closely with Chef David and his network of local farmers and suppliers to cultivate the best plants, herbs, and vegetables.

In addition to having fresh and carefully grown ingredients, the menu showcases exclusive fermentation techniques that transform and preserve the plants’ riches.

As part of the shared vegetarian fine dining experience, IGNIV Bangkok is set to offer proprietary vegetarian dishes platters crafted by Oz’s chef. Chef David unveils several flavors, including Sunchoke-Onion-Macaron, Butternut Squash-Radicchio-Hollandaise, and Carrot-Crème Fraiche-Red Beet.

Meanwhile, chef Timo looks forward to displaying his creativity and expertise with a variety of dishes, such as Thai Basil-Ceviche-Jalapeno, Cucumber-Calamansi-Nori, Egg-Ponzu-Morning Glory, Broccoli-Gremolata-Tomato, and a cucumber-based dessert for those looking for sweet delights.

In addition, guests will be able to choose a sweet treat from a selection of homemade macarons, chocolates, fruits, and other delicacies from IGNIV’s exclusive candy store, perfect to have with a cup of coffee or hot tea.

The Vegetarian Dinner Sharing Experience at IGNIV Bangkok is available from Thursday to Monday for lunch and dinner for 4000++ baht per person. Guests can enjoy this culinary journey from September 29 to October 3, 2022.

The restaurant, located on The St. Regis Bangkok’s ground floor, is open for lunch from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. and for dinner from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
