Mod Kaew Wine Bar Reopens, Unveils Epic Weekend Brunch

After temporarily closing its doors at the end of April this year, the BAD 2023 Best Wine Bar winner, Mod Kaew Wine Bar, is now bouncing back.

Their brand-new location on Sathorn Soi 12 not only marks a new chapter but also introduces a fresh weekly feature – a delightful weekend brunch.

Mod Kaew Wine Bar, with its relaxed and unassuming ambiance, brought a transformative wave to Bangkok’s wine scene.

Now situated opposite the recently opened Asai Sathorn hotel, they aim to carry this innovative spirit forward, hosting a unique brunch every weekend from 12pm to 4pm, and continuing to spotlight local culinary talents.

Mod Kaew revealed that this weekend’s brunch will adopt a grocery-style theme, aiming to display high-quality products through simple culinary techniques and bistro-style preparation.

This weekend’s menu will feature turbot and rib-eye, but each event’s offerings will rely on what is fresh and in-season from local suppliers. Regular brunch items will include fresh seafood, cold cuts, and a variety of cheeses.

Drawing inspiration from their former Ploenchit location, the evening menu at Mod Kaew Wine Bar will feature a delightful array of traditional bistro-style sharing plates in various sizes.

Adding to the excitement, the culinary experience will be infused with a captivating fusion of Latin American and Asian flavors, masterfully crafted by their new Costa Rican chef, Charlie Fung.

Last December, the visionary team behind Mod Kaew (meaning “bottoms up”) expanded their horizons by launching Mod Kwad (meaning “bottoms up” but from the bottle).

Their remarkable bottle shop conveniently situated in Phrom Phong, right next to Peppina on Sukhumvit Soi 33.

The new location is located at 142, Soi Sueksa Wittaya, Sathorn Soi 12. For further details, please visit their Facebook or call: 082-096-0281.
