Cocoa XO: Head to Bangkok’s Epic Rooftop Chocolate Buffet

Bangkok has plenty of establishments to satisfy the cravings of chocaholics, but none compare to the sky-high experience of feasting upon a chocolate buffet at Centara Grand’s 57th floor Cocoa XO.

This elegant sky bar and lounge, a real highlight of any visit to the downtown Centara Grand at Centralworld shopping mall, is a foodie’s favourite for the buffet that is a dessert heaven for any chocolate lover.

Chocolate connoisseurs have been heading in their droves to the al fresco venue to sample the ingenious idea of an all-you-can-eat chocolatier buffet in the sky.

You can savour delicious house-made chocolate treats and enjoy breathtaking aerial views of the city for as much time as you like from 4 p.m. till late, all for the exceptional price of THB 812.

More than 49 different types of chocolate are available inside the Cocoa XO Pod, which bills itself as Bangkok’s first and only chocolate cave. There is also a special chocolate grotto where you can explore delicious delicacies around every corner.

The cave is well-stocked with treats including soft-serve ice cream, chocolate cake, ganache, and pralines, but that is just the beginning of the chocolate bounty that patrons can enjoy.

A scrumptious dipped chocolate waffle cone for Cocoa XO’s Cognac-infused soft serve ice creams, “Signature Blend” and “Zephyr Milky,” is the latest delight to grace the menu of the chocolatier buffet.

The buffet menu has also recently added rum and cognac truffles, almond marzipan, lemon honey & pistachio chocolate pralines, and a large variety of Nama chocolates.

Do not worry if the chocolate buffet is simply too much for you to take. You may purchase fun and finely made chocolatey goodies from them, so they have you covered. A chocolate tree costs THB 790, while a pair of chocolate shoes costs THB 490.

Choose a nine-piece or 16-piece box of chocolates for THB 480 or THB 999 as a nice present for your loved ones. Head over to: www.cocoaxobangkok.com for further information.
