“The Taste Of Italy Food Showcase 2023” unveils an array of the finest Italian foods and ingredients, hosted at the Gourmet Market at locations including the Emporium, EmQuartier, Paragon, The Mall Ngamwongwan, and Thapra branches, through to July 25.
The “Iconic Taste of Italian Product from Selected Regions” concept fuels this event, born from a partnership with the Italian Trade Agency and the Embassy of Italy.
It aims to display the meticulous attention to detail Italians invest in sourcing top-quality ingredients for their authentic, mouthwatering cuisine.
Over 300 items from an impressive roster of 65 brands have been brought in from all corners of Italy specifically for this showcase.
These are premium ingredients celebrated globally for their unmatched quality and taste.
Notable mentions include the Marina Colonna Mandarino, a sweet mandarin-scented extra virgin olive oil that won the “Ambassador of Quality” award. The smooth Amedei Toscano milk chocolate received the “Tavoletta d’Oro 2022 Award”.
The “Great Taste Award 2022” was accorded to Coppola Datterini, or peeled baby plum tomatoes in tomato juice, and Apicoltura Cazzola, a raw virgin acacia honey from Italy, was recognized as the “Top Italian Food 2023” by Gambero Rosso.
Additional standout items include Forgrana Parmigiano Reggiano, a traditional hard cheese from Emilia-Romagna; Red Pop Apple from the South Tyrol mountains; Rummo Rigatoni pasta; and Isolai truffle balsamic.
