Christmas is upon us once again, and if you are wishing to celebrate the festive season in style then do consider visiting one of PAUL Thailand’s locations in Bangkok, where diners can indulge in an array of mouth-watering Christmas delights, sure to satisfy any appetite.

The French bakery and restaurant chain is a popular choice with many, attracted by some of the tastiest handmade breads you can find anywhere. Other sought after items include their freshly baked, authentic French pastries and cakes, a variety of pasta dishes, salads, sandwiches, burgers, quiches, soups, and an impressive selection of hot and cold drinks.

At this most wonderful time of the year, the special holiday menu at PAUL is fantastic. You have so many delicious options: Crêpe Ham Egg, Seafood Gratin, Fillet Mignon Kurobuta, Chocolate Yule Log Cake, X’mas Chocolate Mousse Cake, Butter Beer, and many more!

‘Tis the Season To Be Jolly! Savour PAUL’s Festive Delights

Memorable meals await those dining at PAUL this Christmas, renowned for their quality of ingredients and freshness of food, all made without artificial colours or preservatives. The company was founded in 1889, starting with a small bakery in Croix near Lille in the North of France: these days, PAUL has opened 750+ locations in 49 countries across the world.

Get in the festive mood with one of France’s best dishes, crêpes (the European cousin of American pancakes). Seen above, the Crêpe Ham Egg features a thin pancake, poached egg, sliced ham, bechamel sauce, and Hass avocado – this enticing dish costs THB 280.

Patrons of PAUL also have another festive crêpe to try this Christmas, the Crêpe Parisien. Loaded with a perfectly fried egg and homemade tomato sauce, this savoury delight will cost you THB 280, including accompanying smoked salmon and herbed cream cheese.

The first photo of the three above shows the pleasing Seafood Gratin, priced at THB 580. It is a tremendous dish, prepared with a lovely mix of locally-caught fish: shrimp, seabass, squid, mussels and baby scallops all feature, smothered with a cheesy, white wine sauce.

Another must-try Christmas delicacy is the Fillet Mignon Kurobota, priced at a reasonable THB 450. You can see in the second photo above the pleasant bacon-wrapped Kurobota tenderloin pork, which comes with fluffy mashed potato swirls, French Cornichon pickles, a selection of mushrooms, charcuterie sauce, and some seasoned, whole grain mustard.

Burgundy-inspired Joue de Boeuf à la Bourguignonne is another Christmas cracker to try at PAUL! The last of the photos above, it is comprised of stewed Australian beef cheek in a red wine reduction, accompanied by mashed potato, shallots and carrots, for THB 690.

Feel the Christmas Spirit With Some Tantalizing Desserts

No good meal is complete without having a decent dessert, so PAUL’s festive confections have a lot to live up to, being that the other holiday menu items are so divine! Luckily, the line-up has been carefully selected, with some insanely delicious options to choose from.

Why not treat yourself to a traditional Yule log cake for a celebration to remember? There are two flavours to enjoy: above, you can see the Chocolate Yule Log Cake, that features chocolate sponge, whipped cream, dark chocolate, milk, butter, sugar and real chocolate pearl – a slice will set you back THB 160, while a whole log cake will cost you THB 1,200.

You also have a Raspberry Log Cake as an alternative that’s similar to the chocolate cake, but made with sponge cake without any chocolate added to it. This is a bit more costly at THB 180 for a slice or THB 1,400 for a whole log cake, but it’s still immensely good value.

Share yuletide joy with your loved ones by feasting on PAUL’s X’mas Fruit Cake, a superb treat for any family to enjoy that can be seen in the first of the photos above: cranberries, apricots, raisins and walnuts feature, with a splash of rum. It is decent value for THB 285.

The last photo shows PAUL’s fabulous X’mas Cookies, made with butter, egg, wheat flour and chocolate chips, well-priced for THB 175. Also, the X’mas Millefeuille Strawberry can be seen: made with puff pastry, custard cream and strawberries, it’s well worth THB 250.

PAUL is at: Central Embassy, Central Chidlom, Megabangna, ICONSIAM, Eight Thonglor, Emporium and CentralWorld – the PAUL Thailand website also lists its pop-up locations. The Christmas Season menu runs from November 15, 2022, up until January 15, 2023.
