Visit GalileOasis to Celebrate World Book Day This Weekend

Bibliophiles will flock to the delightful urban haven of GalileOasis in Ratchathewi for World Book Day on Sunday, April 23, as part of a joint endeavor between the Embassy of Spain and Songwat’s inventive art space Mesa 312.

The occasion aims to foster a love of reading in conjunction with World Book Day and the celebration of Saint George, a holiday honoring the Cantolina region’s patron saint, famed for his mythical defeat of the dragon.

In addition to local and Spanish independent bookshops assembling to display their works, anticipate entertaining, interactive workshops—envisage princess piñata crafting, Thai imaginative writing sessions, and more. Spanish cuisine will also be available for purchase during the event.

Upon completing the various workshops, be sure to visit the seafood restaurant Fishmonger for its delectable fish and chips, prepared exclusively from Thai indigenous fish sourced from Koh Lanta.

This literary event takes place a mere fortnight after the grand 51st National Book Fair and 21st Bangkok International Book Fair 2023 at the Queen Sirikit Convention Center on April 9.

If you’re searching for a thrilling and enjoyable activity in Bangkok this weekend, consider attending the forthcoming event at Soi Rong Rian Kingphet on Phetchaburi Road, running from 10am to 7pm.

Guaranteed to be a hit for guests of all ages, the event’s proximity to the BTS Ratchathewi station makes it incredibly accessible.
