The event’s launch was overseen by Mr Apichai Chatchalermkit, TAT’s Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business.
The TAT extended an invitation to the public to experience the delicious delights of premium-quality Monthong durians that are at their peak this season, ensuring an unlimited stock for attendees to relish.
Adding a unique twist this year, five special menus featuring succulent durian have been crafted, thereby enhancing the range of high-quality Thai fruit products sourced from farmers nationwide.

Mr. Stephane Coum, the Chief Executive Officer of Food Group, Central Retail, mentioned that Thailand is currently at the height of its fruit season, with a steady supply of produce owing to the country’s favorable terrain and climate for fruit cultivation.
This season’s fruits are recognized globally for their excellent quality and delicious taste, which has become a major attraction for local and international tourists alike.
To highlight the richness of Thai fruits, Tops has chosen the tastiest fruits of this season for display at the Thailand Amazing Durian & Fruit Fest 2023, a genuine Food Discovery & Destination for all patrons.
The Thailand Amazing Durian & Fruit Fest 2023, a cooperative effort between Tops and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), is the country’s original and largest durian and fruit festival, now running for six consecutive years.
Online ticketing began on April 24, 2023, with the festival continuing to attract a lot of interest and positive feedback from durian fans. The festival offers three standout features ensuring an exceptional value for money.
A Monthong Durian Buffet along with a variety of seasonal fruits: Indulge in the best premium-quality Monthong durian of the season, specially chosen for their sweet, full, and smooth pulps, perfectly paired with a selection of seasonal fruits.
Durian Cafe Zone: The first event showcasing five unique durian-based desserts specifically designed for dessert and durian aficionados.
The cafe is proud to present durian sticky rice, poached durian in coconut syrup, cheesy durian bake, durian lasagna, and durian Dice-cream.
Refreshing Fruit Market Zone: An extensive range of seasonal Thai fruits from quality orchards across the country, including exotic varieties of mangosteen, rambutan, coconut, long kong, mango, and many others to refresh you.
Experience the exquisite taste of Monthong durians and refresh with the best fruits at this six-day event from today until May 15, 2023, at Square C (outdoor) in front of CentralWorld.
The event is prepared to deliver an hour of deliciousness seven times a day at the following hours: 11:00-12:00, 12:30-13:30, 14:00-15:00, 15:30-16:30, 17:00-18:00, 18:30-19:30, and 20:00-21:00.
Admission tickets are available for 699 baht (limited quantity). A special offer for T1 members allows the redemption of 5,000 points and 1 baht for a durian buffet ticket worth 699 baht at the event from May 10-15, 2023.
