Celebrated British-Irish comedian Jimmy Carr is returning to Bangkok this month with his “Terribly Funny” tour scheduled for Friday, January 26 and Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Muangthai Rachadalai Theatre on the 9th floor of The Esplanade shopping center.
The award-winning funnyman last captivated audiences in the Thai capital with two back-to-back shows at the Westin Grande Sukhumvit in early 2019. His upcoming appearance has sparked huge excitement among Thailand-based fans, who are eager to experience his distinct brand of humour, sure to leave every attendee bursting out in laughter.
Jimmy Carr is a well-known comedian, television host, and actor, renowned for his unique laugh, deadpan delivery, and dark humour. Jimmy’s performances are an adventure into the realm of edgy comedy, offering an experience that is not for the faint of heart.
He began his comedy career in 1997 and has since hosted a number of television shows. Notably, he hosted “8 Out of 10 Cats” and its spin-off “8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown”, both of which are comedy panel shows that aired on Channel 4 in the UK.
Aside from his successful stand-up comedy career and role as a TV host, Jimmy has also authored a book called “The Naked Jape: Uncovering the Hidden World of Jokes”, where he explores the art, history, and science of joke-telling.
