CentralwOrld Becomes 8th Central Shopping Center To Host Vaccination Spot

CentralwOrld shopping center has announced that a new COVID-19 vaccination center would be opened in the ‘centralwOrld LIVE’ area.

The new location is the eighth of the 23 vaccination points planned to roll out in Central shopping centers across Thailand. It was set up in association with King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, the Thai Red Cross Society, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), and the Thai Chamber of Commerce.

It’s also part of a plan led by the Central Group, Central Pattana, and Central Retail – with AIS and Centara as partners – to drive rapid and efficient vaccination of Thai people.

According to the government’s mandate, it’s expected to start operating from June 7 onwards. In the first phase, the vaccination center will administer vaccines to front-line staff and volunteers who have booked jab.

Shopping centers have offered some spaces to help accelerate mass inoculation in large, clean, and safe areas with 100% effectiveness in restrictions.

Their goal is to help Thailand recover and move forward.

The new vaccination center, part of the project “Thai Ruam Jai, Safe Bangkok,” will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day.

Those who want to register to obtain a vaccine can do so from now on as follows:

–          The first group includes people who have participated in government projects. They can register through the Pao Tang mobile app.

–          The second group includes people who have not participated in the aforementioned government projects. They can register through the Thai Ruam Jai website.

–          The third group includes people without Internet access. They can register in person at FamilyMart, Tops daily, and other participating convenience stores.
