Adam Levine is committed to improving his relationship with Behati Prinsloo after a model accused him of cheating on his wife.
The Maroon 5 frontman broke his silence after multiple women said Sumner Stroh posted a now-viral TikTok video saying she and the singer had a year-long affair. Other women voiced similar experiences after her allegations.
In a post shared shortly after, Levine denied having an affair with another woman. However, he admitted to having “crossed a line” and using “poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner.”
The Animals singer described what had been “a regrettable period” of his life, saying: “In certain instances it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.”
A source told People that Prinsloo, a Namibian supermodel known for being one of Victoria’s Secret’s angels, was fully “committed to her family.”
The rocker admitted that his behavior had been inappropriate and he had acted “like and idiot,” the source stated, adding that Behati, who is pregnant with their third child, was “still very upset.”
“Adam is very understanding about her feelings. He is trying his best to make things better. He never wants a divorce,” the insider went on.
Another source also spoke about how the couple has dealt with the infidelity accusations, saying that every marriage had challenges, but “Adam knows this was his mistake” and wants to make things work.
The comments came after Stroh claimed to have had a year-long affair with the singer and showed screenshots of alleged DMs he sent her.
However, Levine insists that nothing physical happened. According to another insider close to him, he was messaging Stroh and being “flirtatious” with two women, but he did not have a physical relationship with any of them.
Stroh also claimed that Levine had asked her if he could use her name for his third daughter. “Ok serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s w boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You ok with that? DEAD serious,” another screenshot shared by the Instagram model showed.
Levine and Prinsloo were photographed together just a day after he posted the message. They both wore sunglasses but were seen smiling.
