Donatella Versace Will Design Wedding Dress for Britney

Britney Spears has revealed that iconic Italian fashion house Versace is helping her design her wedding dress.

On Tuesday, the 39-year-old singer shared some photos on her official Instagram profile showing her posing in a pink tulle gown. But, before fans started speculating, she clarified that it was not the dress she would wear for her marriage ceremony.

“No… this is not my wedding dress bahahah!!!! Donatella Versace is making my dress as we speak…. Have a good night, folks ✨!!!!” she captioned the post.

While Versace has not responded to the media’s request for comment, the fashion icon recently spoke out about one of Spears’ social media posts and has long supported the celebrity during her conservatorship court hearings.

Earlier this year, Donatella posted a throwback of Britney wearing a Versace outfit in the early 2000s, saying: “I love that @britneyspears posted her favorite 2000s looks!! This flashback is from when she came to my show in 2002, looking glamorous in Versace.”

“I’ll never forget when you came stayed with my Britney, you were and will always be magical!!!!,” she added.

Spears got engaged to her boyfriend of five years, Sam Asghari, who proposed to her in September this year, amid her legal battle to end her 13-year conservatorship.

Last month, Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, was removed as her tutor after a judge ruled that he had created a “toxic environment” over his daughter’s conservatorship.

“Based on what I read in the filings, and I read everything. I do believe the suspension of Jamie Spears is in the best interest of Britney Spears,” judge Brenda Penny said in October.

“The current situation is unattainable. The court finds the toxic environment Jamie Spears has created needs to be removed today,” she added.

Britney’s latest legal victory means the singer now has more freedom to make decisions about her personal life, including marrying her now-fiancé Sam. However, the wedding ceremony cannot be fully planned until the results of the next conservatorship hearing, scheduled to take place on November 12, are known.
