Nicki Minaj Hits Back at Megan Thee Stallion’s New Song ‘Hiss’

Nicki Minaj has expressed disapproval of Megan Thee Stallion’s latest track titled “Hiss.”

In this bold new single, Megan seems to indirectly criticize Nicki’s spouse, registered sex offender Kenneth Petty. She alludes to Megan’s Law, legislation mandating the public disclosure of information about sex offenders.

“These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, they’re mad at Megan’s Law/ I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start/ B—h, you’re a p—y, never gonna check me/ Every chance you get, bet your weak ass won’t address me,” Megan raps on “Hiss.”

Reacting to the song’s release on January 26, Minaj took to Instagram Live, showcasing a yet-to-be-released song in response to Megan.

She refers to an incident involving Megan and Tory Lanez, where Megan was shot in the foot in 2020. Lanez was later imprisoned following the conclusion of the case.

In her response, Nicki uses sharp lyrics to describe Megan, hinting at a physical fall and urging her to recover.

“Bad b—h, she’s like six-foot, I call her Big Foot/ The b—h fell off, I said get up on your good foot,” Nicki raps in the snippet.

Nicki continued, criticizing Megan for bringing up past issues regarding her husband. She implied that Megan’s actions were driven by a lack of love and respect in her life, and mentioned the passing of Megan’s mother in 2019.

Nicki didn’t hold back, further addressing the issue on the Stationhead radio app. “You let everyone be thrown under the bus,” Nicki is heard saying about Megan in a video posted to X (formerly Twitter).

“You let DaBaby be thrown under the bus, Tory, your best friend, your mom… You better go conjure up your mother and apologize. That’s disgusting.”

Nicki has posted multiple messages on X, referring to Megan as a “disgusting serpent” and sarcastically offering, “Megan’s Law. Get a free beat at #Meganraw.”

In a separate post, she stated her opposition to “bullying,” yet labeled Megan as a “pathological and manipulative liar,” accusing her of “using ghostwriters & still SUCKING.”

“Hiss,” produced by LilJuMadeDaBeat and Bankroll Got It, is the second single from Megan’s third album.

This track follows her initial independent release “Cobra” since leaving 1501 Certified Entertainment. “Cobra” achieved notable success, ranking on the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.
