Ronaldo Confirms His Girlfriend Shall Soon Be Having Twins

Cristiano Ronaldo shared the news on Thursday that his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez is pregnant with twins.

The Manchester United star went on Instagram to address his followers with the post:

‘Delighted to announce we are expecting twins. Our hearts are full of love – we can’t wait to meet you.’

Ronaldo’s post showed himself and Georgina proudly showing their twins’ ultrasounds, along with an image of his four children swimming together.

The Argentinian beauty shared the same images and caption on her own profile.

Georgina and Cristiano already have a three-year-old daughter, Alana, while the Manchester United star also has son Cristiano Jr, 11, and twins Eva and Mateo, four.

Ronaldo’s mom didn’t wait long to congratulate her son and his girlfriend with the message:

‘Let my grandchildren be born healthy. That’s what matters the most.’

Georgina’s elder sister Ivana, who confirmed in July she was expecting her first child with her painter and sculptor partner Carlos Garcia, also congratulated the footballer and his partner.

They wrote the couple’s Instagrams in Spanish: ‘Congratulations, family’ followed by two heart emojis.

The happy news comes after Georgina revealed she wants Cristiano to propose to her in a teaser for her new Netflix series.

In the trailer, she is badgered by pals about whether or not Cristiano will pop the question in the video.

‘It doesn’t depend on me… I wish,’ she tells her friends over dinner.

Ronaldo’s oldest son Cristiano Jr was born in the United States in 2010 and immediately taken back to Madrid. The identity of his mother is unknown.

In June 2017, Ronaldo surprised fans with the news he’d welcomed twins Eva and Mateo through a surrogate, and just one month later he and Georgina announced they were expecting their first child together.
