Zendaya’s Rep Dismisses ‘News’ of Restaurant Denial Over Outfit

Representatives for Zendaya have rejected claims that the actress was denied service at a restaurant on Saturday due to her outfit.

Scott Newman, the representative for Zendaya, exclusively told Page Six, “This is completely false.”

A story that emerged on Monday suggested that the “Dune” lead was reportedly not allowed into Terrazza Borromini in Rome as her black crop top was not in line with the dress code of the establishment.

Yet, Newman informed Page Six that Zendaya’s group had “realized” that they had already dined there on a previous occasion and subsequently “left and went to another place.”

Photos sourced by the Daily Mail showed the actress dressed in a black, strapless crop top matched with relaxed beige trousers.

Her outfit was complemented by a slim brown belt and black leather brogues, rounded off with a designer handbag and gold bracelets for a daytime look.

The “Euphoria” lead was in Italy over the past weekend for the inauguration of the new deluxe hotel, Bulgari Hotel Roma, by Bulgari.

The actress, currently in a relationship with her “Spiderman” co-star Tom Holland, was present at the opening on Thursday along with fellow Bulargi ambassador Priyanka Chopra.

Zendaya disclosed on Instagram that she had a near miss with a fashion mishap when her initial outfit was “lost in transit.”

She captioned an Instagram story post showcasing an oversized black Valentino blazer and matching trousers, “Fun fact…my dress for tonight’s @bulgarihotels event got lost in transit, so we got this suit an hour before the event.”

The actress then added, “When in doubt…a @maisonvalentino suit smile @luxurylaw,” mentioning the now-retired designer Law Roach.

She wore a chainmail-style tank top encrusted with crystals for her last-minute ensemble, seeming to sport a pair of pasties under the see-through top.

On May 16, the “Greatest Showman” lead attended another Bulgari glamour event in Venice.

She was seated in the front row for the brand’s reveal of its latest collection, donning a Bulgari diamond Serpenti necklace and a black off-the-shoulder gown.

Other high-profile Bulgari ambassadors in attendance included Chopra and Anne Hathaway.
