Ye West Slams Kim Kardashian Over Daughter Being on TikTok

Hulu reality star Kim Kardashian and hip-hop star Kanye West were embroiled in a controversial and heated online feud on Friday after the rapper complained that his ex-wife put their daughter North on TikTok “against his will.”

The war of words began when West, who recently changed his name to Ye, shared a photo of their eight-year-old daughter North on Instagram, captioning it: “Since this is my first divorce, I need to know what should I do about my daughter being put on TikTok against my will?”

A few hours later, Kim responded to Kanye’s comments with another Instagram post. In a lengthy statement, the TV personality and businesswoman accused her ex-husband of causing her family “pain” with “constant attacks,” describing herself as “the main caregiver” to her children.

“Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,” she wrote. “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision – because it brings her happiness.”

Kanye screenshot Kardashian’s statement and posted another message in response, asking: “What do you mean by main provider? America saw you try to kid nap my daughter on her birthday by not providing the address.”

The Donda singer said that Kim had put security inside the house when he played with their son and later accused him of stealing. “I had to take a drug test after Chicago’s party cause you accused me of being on drugs,” he wrote.

West also accused KUWTK star’s close friend and business associate Tracy Romulus of manipulating her “to be his way.” Romulus is the Chief Financial Officer for Kim Kardashian West Brands.

In her initial post, Kim claimed that she had wanted nothing more than a “healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship,” saying it was “what is best” for their four children –North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. However, Kanye makes every step along the way “impossible,” she added.

The dispute came about a month after Kanye revealed in a podcast that he didn’t want North to appear on TikTok, saying, “I’m not here to approve that.”
