Ivan Perisic: Tottenham Sign Winger From Inter Milan

Tottenham Hotspur have signed Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic on a two-year agreement that will last till 2024.

On Monday, the 33-year-old underwent a physical with the Premier League team and will join on a free transfer when his Inter contract expires on July 1.

When Antonio Conte guided Inter to the Serie A victory in 2020-21, Perisic worked alongside him.

“Working with a coach like this is a luxury,” he remarked. I’m overjoyed to see him again.”

Perisic played 49 times in all competitions this season, scoring 10 goals as Inter won the Coppa Italia.

Tottenham’s first summer acquisition is Croatian international Mario Mandzukic, with Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster also poised to join the north London club.

“I’m definitely looking forward to getting started with the Spurs family,” Perisic said.

“I was watching the last two of three games and it was clear that Tottenham would be in the Champions League after beating Arsenal – which was excellent for me because I want to participate in the top games.”

“I enjoy working a lot, and I enjoy working for a team.” I can play a variety of positions in Tottenham’s current system, and I will also offer a wealth of experience having previously played for a number of prestigious clubs. I can’t wait to get started playing and training and giving it my all.”
