Excitement Builds for LANY’s Two Bangkok Shows in November

LA-based indie pop band LANY have added another Bangkok show to their “A November To Remember” tour: Thursday, November 3 and Friday, November 4, 2022 are confirmed as the dates to see the accomplished duo perform at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani.

The new addition came after an overwhelming demand for tickets to see LANY live in the Thai capital on November 3 from their legion of fans, with the distinguished group having made a name for themselves during three previous visits to Thailand. The boys have had widespread success in the Kingdom after playing sold-out shows in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

LANY (which is an acronym for Los Angeles – New York) is comprised of Paul Jason Klein and Jake Clifford Goss and was formed in 2014 when lead vocalist Klein, originating from Oklahoma, went to Nashville to meet with friends Goss, and former bandmate Les Priest.

As close friends they knew each other’s musical styles well, and it didn’t take long before they were crafting calming songs filled with emotive lyrics about love and heartbreak. It’s been a rapid rise to success that started by signing with top record label Polydor in 2015.

Four LANY studio albums have been released to great acclaim featuring smash hits such as “ILYSB”, “Malibu Nights”, “I Quit Drinking”, “Pink Skies” and “Mean It”, the super catchy track made in collaboration with US singer/songwriter Lauv that was brought out in 2019.

It was acronym-titled viral hit “ILYSB” which truly put LANY on the map: TikTok users have been one of the driving forces behind the track, selecting it as background music to their videos in droves. Spotify listeners have streamed the song a whopping 248 million times.

Romance and breakup-themed pop music is what LANY do best, and “ILYSB” showcases their talents perfectly. The ensemble have become known for a distinct synth-pop sound unique to them, touring in the past with illustrious artists such as John Mayer and Halsey.

The current “A November To Remember” tour is set to visit Tokyo, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Taipei, and Manila, where LANY have a five-night residency to end the tour in impressive fashion. Filipino music lovers have taken a massive shine to the talented duo, and in the run-up to the shows they’ve had immense coverage from local media outlets.

Fans in Thailand are equally passionate about Paul and Jake’s music, and the two shows are expected to sell-out as LANY supporters scramble to see them once again in person. It will be an epic two nights of entertainment this November, at Bangkok’s Impact Arena.
