Irish Rockers Kodaline Bringing “Live in Asia” Tour to Bangkok

Irish rock sensations Kodaline will take to the stage in Bangkok this September when they bring the “Live in Asia” tour to IMPACT Exhibition Hall 5, for what should be an epic night.

Having last delighted Bangkok crowds during its “Politics of Living Tour” in early 2019, the group is now eagerly preparing for its triumphant return with a hotly-anticipated show. An immense fanbase loves the Dublin quartet for their engrossing concerts which showcase their abundance of natural talent, moving lyricism, and undoubted musical craftsmanship.

Known for its breathtaking blend of alternative and indie rock, Kodaline has been crafting music for 18 years and its current line-up consists of four members: lead vocalist Stephen Garrigan, guitarist Mark Prendergast, drummer Vinny May and bass player Jason Boland.

In addition to Bangkok, the band is also scheduled to perform in a number of other major Asian cities, including Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Manila, Hong Kong, Seoul, and Osaka. If you are going to see them for the first time, you will be amazed by their incredible live show.

Some of Kodaline’s biggest singles to date include “All I Want”, “High Hopes”, “The One”, and “Brother”. They will also play standout tracks from their recent album “One Day At A Time”, such as “Wherever You Are”, “Everyone Changes”, “Say Something”, and “Care”.

Established in 2005 as “21 Demands” the group first gained recognition on the fifth series of RTÉ One’s talent contest, “You’re a Star”. Their debut track “Give Me A Minute” was the first ever independent release that went on to grab the top spot in the Irish Singles Chart.

In 2012, the band adopted the name “Kodaline” and by 2013 they released the first studio album “In A Perfect World”. One of the singles, “All I Want” was a hit, topping the UK chart and earning them the title of “Record of the Week” from BBC Radio 1’s DJ Fearne Cotton.

Kodaline rolled out their fourth album, “One Day at a Time” in November 2020, which has gained an overwhelming wave of positive reviews from fans all around the world. To date, they have amassed an awe-inspiring array of accolades, including three Irish number-one albums, two UK top-five albums, and a staggering count of over a billion Spotify streams.

Make your way to IMPACT Exhibition Hall 5 on Saturday, September 16th to see the iconic band perform live, for the second time in the Kingdom. The incredible blend of Kodaline’s slow, moving, yet undeniably catchy pop tunes is certain to leave every attendee in awe.
