For anyone who has seen 2022’s hit movie “Top Gun: Maverick”, then the part where Tom Cruise and his fellow fighter pilots have a shirtless game of dogfight football on the beach will have surely made a massive impression. In homage to the first “Top Gun” and its well-loved volleyball scene, OneRepublic’s song “I Ain’t Worried” is playing in the background.

Formed in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2007 by lead vocalist Ryan Tedder, and guitarist Zach Filkins, the band started to gain followers through Myspace, a social media website.
