Post Malone Is Set To Make His Bangkok Debut This September

Renowned American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer Post Malone is set to bring his long-awaited “If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying” tour to Bangkok in September.

The multi-award winning artist, who is best known for the popular single “Sunflower” from 2018 blockbuster movie ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’, has never performed a show in Thailand before. His fans were thrilled earlier this month when the Syracuse, New York native announced that he would be making a stop on his tour at IMPACT Challenger Hall.

Austin Richard Post, known professionally as Post Malone, is famous for his unique mix of pop, hip-hop, R&B, and trap music genres. The rapper landed on his unusual stage name when he had an idea to enter real name “Austin Post” into an online rap name generator.

Some of his biggest-selling hits to date include: “Rockstar”, “White Iverson”, “Better Now”, “Circles”, “Congratulations”, and “Sunflower”, all gaining huge numbers of streams online. His hotly-anticipated fifth studio album “Austin” is scheduled to be released on July 28th.

Post Malone will continue to delight fans in Asia following his one-night show in Bangkok, with performances lined up in many cities including Manila, Taipei, Seoul, and Hong Kong before his last show in Tokyo, where he headlined Summer Sonic music festival last year.

Hailing from New York, Malone began his music journey in 2011, and rose to fame with his 2015 debut single “White Iverson.” The track, named after basketball player Allen Iverson, was a viral hit on SoundCloud, earning millions of streams and several record label offers.

Malone then signed with Republic Records, and collaborated with established artists such as 50 Cent and Kanye West, further propelling him into the spotlight. Soon after, “Stoney” had its release in 2016, his well-received debut album featuring Justin Bieber and Quavo.

Post Malone is one of the most in-demand artists in the world, having sold over 80 million records and landing major honours including ten Billboard Music Awards, three American Music Awards and nine Grammy Award nominations. His global hit “Circles” proved to be record-breaking with 34 weeks spent in the Billboard Hot 100’s top 10 – the longest ever.

Recently, the rapper opened for the legendary Red Hot Chili Peppers during their “Global Stadium” tour in Australia and New Zealand. Now, anticipation is building with his legions of fans in Bangkok for his show on Thursday, September 14th at IMPACT Challenger Hall.
