Blue by Alain Ducasse: Christmas Fine-Dining Celebrations

Blue by Alain Ducasse was the first restaurant of the legendary French chef and his gigantic gastronomic empire to arrive in Thailand.

Thanks to its exquisite menu and a luxurious first-class atmosphere, it has managed to become a popular alternative among the most demanding diners and, by the end of this month, it will be one year old.

To celebrate its anniversary and the Holiday season with the sophisticated French flair that characterizes the restaurant, there will be a seven-course fine-dining feast.

Restaurant Executive Chef Wilfrid Hocquet and Executive Pastry Chef Maxou Boonthanakit will be in charge of the fine-dining feast, which will take place on December 24 and 25, offering a select menu of seven delicious options at 6,900 baht per person.

Christmas Eve will be a dinner-only affair, but a set menu will be offered for lunch and dinner on Christmas Day.

The first main dish on the day’s menu will be chilled lobster topped with gold caviar, from the renowned Kaviari house in Paris. The menu then expands to welcome equally indulgent entrees like pan-seared duck foie gras, smoked beats, and Martin-sec pear.

There will also be a roasted saddle of lamb stuffed with sorrel and truffled Anna potatoes.

Finally, Chef Maxou will end the banquet with a dessert duo and a delicious Black Forest Christmas yule log. And for those who can’t make it to the Christmas dinner, there will be a New Years’ celebration on December 31 with another seven-course feast priced at 18,000 baht per person.

There will be even more extravagant dishes, including marinated langoustines with gold caviar and charcoal-grilled wagyu beef tenderloin topped with foie gras, plus exclusive chocolate from the Alain Ducasse manufacture in Paris for dessert.

The restaurant is located on top of ICONSIAM, offering one of the best riverside fireworks.
