The Spotted Pig is a Bangkok restaurant specializing in Tex-Mex cuisine, centrally located on Silom’s Soi Saladaeng 1. The casual, all-day dining venue serves up authentic Mexican fusion dishes in a large renovated shophouse, first opening to the public in April of 2022.
A wide-ranging menu awaits diners, with a tantalizing line-up of soups, salads, rice bowls, burritos, quesadillas, tacos, fajitas, and other main courses, all offered at attractive prices. The eatery features elegant design throughout, providing a minimalist vibe that results in plenty of light exposure from the spacious corner setting, and large expanse of windows.
Bangkok-based fans of Tex-Mex may be familiar with Bowlito Mexican Kitchen. Its owners unveiled The Spotted Pig after the success of their chain of Mexican fast-casual eateries, putting them in a perfect position to come up with exquisite dishes for the Silom venture.
One thing you shouldn’t miss out on when dining at this venue is the tacos, especially the magnificent Salmon Taco, as seen in the main photo: the delicacy is wrapped in a toasted tortilla, and the flavors are spectacular. You can also see the Clam Chowder in the photos above, consisting of a scrumptious medley of fresh, plump clams in a thick, creamy soup.
Meat lovers are certain to love the Beef Fajitas, bursting with tangy Mexican heat in every bite, while the BBQ Pork Ribs, bathed in smoky sweetness, promise to surprise your taste buds. Other menu highlights include the terrific Mexi Beef Salad, and Pulled Pork Burrito.
Spice up your meal with an array of sauces such as Jalapeno Ranch, Smoked Chili, Spicy Mexi and a range of other condiments exclusively offered at the dining spot. For a sweet finale, try the yummy Blueberry Cream Crumble, topped with blueberries and avocados.
In addition to a variety of food items, there is also a range of drink options including cold-pressed drinks, soft drinks, cocktails, and other beverages. Some standout highlights, as shown in the picture above, are Pink Panther, Bugs Bunny and the refreshing Fizzy Yuzu.
